Introduction

Welcome to Trewards, a taxpayer reward platform where taxpayers can earn rewards for timely and accurate tax filing. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age and a resident of India to participate in our taxpayer reward program. By participating in our program, you represent and warrant that you are eligible to do so.

3.Rewards Redemption

Rewards can be redeemed in the form of offers or services hosted in our platform Trewards . We reserve the right to change the redemption options and terms at any time without notice. Rewards cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, except as required by law. In case of any refunds from affiliate programs , minimum 45-90 days or whatever the retailer/partner company timelines provided will be adhered and accordingly the refund will be made . The % refunds on purchase of products from affiliate sites are decided by Trewards and reserve the rights to change it anytime without notice . Please make sure you purchase only after redirecting from Trewards website , Once Trewards receives the commission , the cashback / Trewards coins eligible against the products will be confirmed in wallet or can be redeemed in the form of Gift voucher or Cash (Online Transfer etc again subject to Trewards policy if it is allowed ) .

a. Cashback T&C's :

When a Trewards member completes a Successful Transaction, and Trewards receives the commission from the retailer, the member will receive cashback via the medium already decided by us . Note that not every transaction with a retailer may be considered a Successful Transaction or result in cashback. Additionally, the member acknowledges that transactions are not conducted with Trewards but directly with individual retailers. Retailers may occasionally alter the commission rates, causing discrepancies between the advertised and actual cashback rate. Cashback will be credited based on the retailer’s reported commission, and Trewards is not liable for differences between expected and actual cashback received by the member.

Once the retailer confirms the transaction, cashback is finalized, which may take 90 days or more from the purchase date. If the transaction is modified, canceled, or if the item is returned, cashback will not be provided. Members are also expected to inform the Trewards team about any returns or exchanges to avoid receiving undue cashback.

Whether a transaction qualifies for cashback (including referrals) is at the retailer’s or Trewards' discretion. Trewards is not responsible if a retailer does not report a sale or deems a transaction ineligible for cashback. While we strive to recover missing commissions, we reserve the right not to pursue claims, particularly in cases where no purchase was made.

If a retailer decides a purchase does not qualify, and Trewards does not receive commission, cashback will not be awarded. Trewards also reserves the right to adjust balances if credits were applied in error, if transactions were not genuinely eligible, or if payment was not received from the retailer or its agencies. This includes adjustments for transactions marked as payable or previously paid.

4.Limitations and Exclusions

Rewards are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to limit or exclude participants from the taxpayer reward program at any time without notice. We may also exclude participants who engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior or who violate these terms and conditions.

5.Disclaimer of Warranties

Our platform and the taxpayer reward program are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that our platform or the taxpayer reward program will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times.

6.Limitation of Liability

Trewards acts as an intermediary and is not involved directly in transactions with retailers, nor are we the provider of any products or services they offer. This means that the obligations binding sellers of these goods and services don’t apply to us.

Consequently, Trewards holds no responsibility for:

The quality, safety, or legality of products or services offered by retailers
The retailer's ability or willingness to fulfill orders and transfer ownership as promised

We encourage members to exercise the same level of care when engaging in transactions with retailers online as they would in any offline transaction. Where permitted by law, Trewards and our team are released from liability related to any issues arising from interactions with retailers. This includes incomplete or completed transactions, as well as products or services advertised, sold, or delivered through these retailer transactions.

In no event shall Trewards be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform or the taxpayer reward program, whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or your use of our platform shall not exceed the total amount of rewards earned by you.

if we receive inquiries regarding activities or transactions linked to you or your account, you agree to:

Provide any necessary information and assistance we reasonably require to address the inquiry.
Respond quickly and accurately if we forward the inquiry to you for your response.

7.Termination

We reserve the right to terminate the taxpayer reward program or your participation in it at any time without notice. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue our platform or any part of it at any time without notice.

8.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India . Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India

9.Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Your continued use of our platform after any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.

10.User Registration

We assume that whoever is registering in the platform is solely responsible for providing any personal details and any Tax details . We are not forcing you to put the details however we wont be sharing the data with anyone else as part of data privacy unless its needed by law .

11. Partnerships with brands which are hosted in Trewards - Any brands or products hosted by 3rd party , Trewards is only responsible for hosting them under our platform . Anything related to Product Quality , Service , Delivery , Pricing ,refunds etc. are sole responsibility of the respective 3rd party and brands . User should take customer support services of respective brand for any further

Terms and Conditions for Taxpayer Confirmation

Definition of a Taxpayer:
A taxpayer is an individual or entity obligated to pay taxes to the government, as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961, or any other applicable tax law in India. This includes salaried employees, self-employed professionals, businesses, or anyone earning taxable income as defined by law.
Eligibility:
By selecting the checkbox during Sign up , you confirm that you are a taxpayer as per the definition provided above. This status qualifies you to access the exclusive services and benefits of Trewards.
Accuracy of Information:
The information provided during registration, including your taxpayer status, must be truthful. Trewards reserves the right to request supporting documentation (e.g., PAN, ITR filings) to verify this status.
Misrepresentation:
Any false declaration regarding your taxpayer status may lead to the suspension or termination of your account and forfeiture of any associated benefits, without liability to Trewards.
Data Privacy:
Any personal or financial information submitted during the verification process will be handled in accordance with Trewards’ [Privacy Policy], ensuring your data is secure and confidential.
Changes and Updates:
Trewards reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Legal Compliance:
By agreeing to these terms, you confirm your obligation to comply with applicable Indian tax laws and regulations.
